【摘要】:Thistestmethodisapplicabletosamplescontaining2to10%gadoliniumoxideand90to98%uraniumoxideonthex201C;asreceivedx201D;basis.Themethodmaybeusedtodetermineconcentrationofeitheruranium,gadolinium,orboth.Eitherwavelength-dispersiveorenergy-dispersiveX-rayfluorescencesystemsmaybeusedprovidedthesoftwareaccompanyingthesystemisabletoaccommodatetheuseofinternalstandards.1.1ThistestmethoddescribesthestepsnecessaryforthepreparationandanalysisbyX-rayfluorescence(XRF)ofgadoliniumoruranium(orboth)ingadoliniumoxide-uraniumoxidepelletsorpowders.1.2Thistestmethodrequirestheuseofappropriateinternalstandard(s).Caremustbetakentoascertainthatsamplesanalyzedbythismethoddonotcontaintheinternalstandardelement(s)orthatthiscontaminationhasbeencorrectedformathematicallywheneverpresent.Suchcorrectionsarenotaddressedinthistestmethod.1.3Thisstandardcontainsnotesthatareexplanatoryandarenotpartofthemandatoryrequirementsofthestandard.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection8andvariousnotesthroughoutthemethod.

【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthewide-widthstripforcex2212;elongationpropertiesofgeotextilesprovidesdesignparametersforreinforcementtypeapplications,forexampledesignofreinforcedembankmentsoversoftsubgrades,reinforcedsoilretainingwalls,andreinforcementofslopes.Whenstrengthisnotnecessarilyadesignconsideration,analternativetestmethodmaybeusedforacceptancetesting.TestMethodD4595forthedeterminationofthewide-widthstriptensilepropertiesofgeotextilesmaybeusedfortheacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofgeotextilesbutcautionisadvisedsinceinformationaboutbetween-laboratoryprecisionisincomplete(Note7).Comparativetestsasdirectedin5.1.1maybeadvisable.IncasesofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingTestMethodD4595foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingbegan.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.Mostgeotextilescanbetestedbythistestmethod.Somemodificationofclampingtechniquesmaybenecessaryforagivengeotextiledependinguponitsstructure.Specialclampingadaptionsmaybenecessarywithstronggeotextilesorgeotextilesmadefromglassfiberstopreventthemfromslippingintheclampsorbeingdamagedasaresultofbeinggrippedintheclamps.Specimenclampingmaybemodifiedasrequiredatthediscretionoftheindividuallaboratoryprovidingarepresentativetensilestrengthisobtained.Inanyevent,theproceduredescribedinSection10ofthistestmethodforobtainingwide-widthstriptensilestrengthmustbemaintained.Thistestmethodisapplicablefortestinggeotextileseitherdryorwet.Itisusedwithaconstantrateofextensiontypetensionapparatus.Theuseoftensilestrengthtestmethodsthatrestricttheclampedwidthdimensionto50mm(2in.)orless,suchastheravel,cutstrip,andgrabtestprocedures,havebeenfoundlesssuitablethanthistestmethodfordeterminingdesignstrengthparametersforsomegeotextiles.Thisisparticularlythecasefornonwovengeotextiles.Thewide-widthstriptechniquehasbeenexploredbytheindustryandisrecommendedinthesecasesforgeotextileapplications.Thistestmethodmaynotbesuitedforsomewovenfabricsusedingeotextileapplicationsthatexhibitstrengthsapproximately100kN/mor600lbf/in.duetoclampingandequipmentlimitations.Inthosecases,100-mm(4-in.)widthspecimensmaybesubstitutedfor200-mm(8-in.)widthspecimens.Onthosefabrics,thecontractioneffectcitedin1.4isminimaland,consequently,thestandardcomparisoncancontinuetobemade.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftensilepropertiesofgeotextilesusingawide-widthstripspecimentensilemethod.Thistestmethodisapplicabletomostgeotextilesthatincludewovenfabrics,nonwovenfabrics,layeredfabrics,knitfabrics,andfeltsthatareusedforgeotextileapplication.1.2Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftensilestrengthand......
