【摘要】:Thispracticedescribesproceduresusedtomeasurephotometricquantitiesthatrelatetothevisualperceptionofretroreflectedlight.Themostsignificantusageisintherelationtothenighttimevehicleheadlamp,retroreflector,anddriver''seyegeometry.ForthisreasontheCIEStandardSourceAisusedtorepresentatungstenvehicleheadlampandthereceptorhasthephotopic,V(x03BB;),spectralresponsivitycorrespondingtothelightadaptedhumaneye.Althoughthegeometrymustbespecifiedbytheuser,itwill,ingeneral,correspondtotherelationbetweenthevehicleheadlamp,theretroreflector,andthevehicledriver''seyeposition.1.1Thispracticedescribesthegeneralproceduresforinstrumentalmeasurementofthephotometriccharacteristicsofretroreflectivematerialsandretroreflectivedevices.1.2ThispracticeisacomprehensiveguidetothephotometryofretroreflectorsbutdoesnotincludegeometrictermsthataredescribedinPracticeE808.1.3Thispracticedescribestheparametersthatarerequiredwhenstatingphotometricmeasurementsinspecifictestsandspecificationsforretroreflectors.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
