【摘要】:ThispartofEN46specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthepreventiveactionofawoodpreservativeagainsteggsofHylotrupesbajulus(Linnaeus)whenthepreservativeisappliedasasurfacetreatmenttowood.Thismethodisapplicableto:1)water-insolublechemicalswhicharebeingstudiedasactiveinsecticides,2)organicformulations,assuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,3)organicwater-dispersibleformulationsassuppliedoraspreparedinthelaboratorybydilutionofconcentrates,or4)water-solublematerials,forexamplesalts.Themethodisapplicablewhetherornotthetestspecimenshavebeensubjectedtoappropriateageingprocedures.
